Hayden update and pumpkin patch pictures!

Sorry I have not blogged for a while. Not much new has been going on. Hayden is now 5 months old and getting big. I weighed him at home and he weighed 16 lbs.! I tried to do it the same way they do it at the dr.'s office with no clothes or diaper on. I weighed myself first and then myself with naked Hayden so it would be as accurate as possible. He has been eating cereal for about a month now and is doing it very well. He has taken to eating with a spoon great. When he turned 5 months, we stared him on 1st foods. We are working our way through the veggies and so far he has done really well. He loves peas and green beans. He ate the sweet potatoes but not as eagerly as he did the green veggies. We will see how he does with squash and carrots here in the next few weeks.
On Oct. 16th, we took Hayden to the pumpkin patch. It was kind of a chilly day and cloudy but we still had fun. Of course Hayden does not know the difference but we wanted to start a tradition from the beginning. Here are a few pics from the trip.

Hayden was not impressed with the cornmaze. Somehow he slept through it. I am not really sure how since it was pretty bumpy.

"What is this mommy?" He was very interested in the pumpkin.

We left him in the stroller this year since he was not standing yet. It will be intersting to see how big he is next year.
