NT Scan this week!!

Well our NT Scan is on Thursday. I know it the previous post, it says Friday 11/21. Well, my RE's office called me on Thursday and said that they needed to change it to Thursday. It was kind of tough for me being a teacher making new arrangements btu I got it all taken care of thankfully! It is at 11:15 Thursday morning. I am nervous about it but excited as well. This is my last appointment with my RE before we are released to the high risk OB. It will be bitter sweet to leave them after all they have done to get us here.

Also this past week, I had another spotting issue. I stopped my progesterone at my last appointment at 10 weeks. 5 days later(Last Monday) I woke up to light bleeding. Of course it was 5:30 am and my RE's office does not open until 7am so I was awake just in tears. I woke up Matt and he just let me lay there and cry. Well, I called my RE's and they told me it was most likely the drop in my progesterone. They asked me if I had any PIO at home, I said I did and they told me to give myself a shot and see if that helped. Then to call them back on Tuesday and update them. Well, I have NEVER given myself a shot before. Matt has always done them, so neeedless to say, I was a nervous wreck. However, I did manage to do it so I was very proud. On Tuesday, it was light spotting when I called back. They told me to continue on the PIO until my next appointment. While I don't like the shots, I gladly went back on them if it would help. I spotted until Friday afternoon and then it stopped. So far so good. I am hoping that my levels have stabalized and things are ok. I guess we will know on Thursday.

Thanks again for everyones support and well wishes. We have made it so far and we could not have done it without you. I am 11 weeks 3 days today so our 1st Tri. is almost over...only 2 more weeks!!!

This baby likes to give you a run for your money doesn't (s)he. I think it's a girl myself. Anywho, good luck. Hope the little peanut continues to hang in there!
