Back from STL
Well, we are back from our trip to Saint Louis. This was Hayden's first trip to visit the family. The 8 hour drive was a little tough on him but he did so well for about 6 hours of it, I can't really complain. We had a very busy week. We arrived on Friday July 17th and the fun began. On Saturday, we went to the Cardinal Baseball game which was fun. We took 2 of my neices, my nephew, and my mom (and of course Hayden). It was a lot of fun. On Sunday, we had a BBQ at my parents house, kind of a meet and greet for the baby. It was great to see family and friends that we don't see very much. On Monday, we just kind of stayed home and relaxed. On Tuesday, we took all 6 grandkids to Sears to have some professional pics done. Hayden did really well with that and the pictures turned out great. Tuesday night, Matt and I went on a date night and my parents watched Hayden. We went to dinner at Red Robin and to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was nice to get out. On Wed. we went to the Saint Louis Zoo with all of my neices and nephew again. It was fun as the weather was only in the lower 80's so it was perfect!! Wed. night, my nephew Brendon had a baseball game so we went and cheered them on. They won as well!!! Thursday, we took all the kids again to a movie. We went and saw Ice Age 3. Hayden slept through the whole movie but the other kids all loved it. Friday was our biggest day, we went to Six Flags. It was the hottest day when we were there (in the mid 90's) but we did a good job o keeping Hayden cool. He even rode a few rides and got to go swimming. He lasted 8 hours so it was great. His 3 year old cousins barely made it that long. Saturday was another chill out day and we ran a few errands. We went to Once upon a child (a second hand children's store) and found some great deals! Then on Sunday, we had the 8 hour trip home. Again, he did great for 6 ours of it, was great and then Matt sat in the back with him and played with him which made the rest of the trip good. Over all it was a great trip and we had a lot of fun and of course a lot of pictures. Here are a few from our trip
Daddy, Hayden and cousin Avery on the moon car ride at Six Flags.
