Well, we have made it to 24 1/2 weeks! Wow, I can't believe we have come this far. Amazing!! Our u/s today was great and the baby is looking good. He weighs 1 lb. 11 oz. which is a gain of 7 oz. in 2 weeks! If he keeps this up, he is going to be huge!! He is becoming more active and moving around quite a bit. His feet are getting closer and closer to my ribs so I have a feeling he will be pushing on them soon. He is already pushing on my stomach so I feel full but then i can hear my stomach growling. I guess I will be eating more often. My cervix is still looking good. It is a 3.5 cm which is great. It has stayed about the same as 2 weeks ago. What is great is that I will not need a cerclage. This is the latest point they would put one in and I don't need it. So, now I am just hoping to stay off of bedrest which would be what would happen if my cervix shortened up. Dr. Robertson said it would have to drop to 2cm or shorter before that would be an issue. Now, I just have to watch out for contractions.
As for my glucose test, I failed it. BOOOO!!!! Apparently it is quite common to fail the 1 hr. so now I just have to do the 3 hr. test. On 2/25 I will be going for my 3 hr. test. I will be bringing my book and my I-Pod to help pass the time. I will have my blood drawn 4 different times. If I fail this test, then I will have gestational diabetes and will have to go to a class. Here is to hoping I pass it.
Here is a new pic of the little guy! It is kind of light because the printer was in need of ink. It is a pic of his face. You can really see all the facial features in this one. You have his eye lids, nose, and mouth. His little fists are curled up right there under his chin. He is just so cute!!!

Sorry to hear abt the glucose test. Hope the 3 hr test turns out to be negative. Sending positive thoughts your way. :)
