Wow, it has been a while since I posted an update. The last few weeks have been pretty uneventful. I am still on bedrest but I am able to spend the day on the couch and get myself food or drinks as needed when I am home by myself. I see the dr. 2 times a week. My cervix has continued to shorten and is down to .9cm (just under 1 cm). The dr. considered re-admitting me to the hospital last Friday when my cervix measured this short but allowed me to go home with strict instructions. I was back again today and the cervix has stabilized. It is still .9cm so it is good that it hasn't fallen anymore. Right now we are just waiting and watching to see what happens with it. If it falls any farther, I think i will be re-admitted. I am hoping to stay out as long as I can. I am almost 33 weeks and our goal is to make 34 weeks so not much longer.
We did have our 2nd baby shower on April 4th. It was a lot of fun and everyone was so generous. I have some pics of the nursery that I will post soon so that everyone can see what it looks like.
I will try to be better with my updates in the future. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

- Matt and Jessica Olsen met on May 30, 2003 and married on August 7, 2004. After 4 1/2 years and 2 IVF's we finally found success. Hayden Matthew was born on May 9, 2009 at 36 weeks 1 day via unplanned c-section. He weighed 5 lb. 10 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. We are now a happy family of 3!

Jess, I am so happy to hear that everything is going well with you. and I am glad to hear that you are at home. Wow you are only 1 week away to your goal. Time flies fast... doesn't it? Hope that things remain uneventful for 1 more week. Take care.
